Gantries

Gantries allow the LED tubes to be preassembled and easily moved into position. They can then be removed when required for cleaning or maintenance.

We are trialling LED lighting and have developed a gantry operated by a Ridder drive unit and rack and pinion system. It pushes one or more gantries backwards and forwards along a pair of Ridder aluminium profiles. This allows LED tubes to be utilised over twice the growing area, helping to offset the extra investment of the tubes.
